Success at Seed-The Future Entrepreneurs 2023-2024
CPS Students of Grade 8 and 9 had participated in one of the most prestigious National level program “Seed-The Future Entrepreneurs 2023-2024” organized by La Fondation Dassaults Systemes in association with Atal Innovation Mission NITI Aayog , Govt of India . As part of this program, a team comprising of 6 students and a passionate teacher is formed to make an imaginary start-up company. Students from 140 schools across 29 states in the country participated in the entrepreneurship challenge.
Team Abhyudaya of City pride school created an innovative product "EMCT- Electronics Multipurpose Cylinder Trolley " for household use and won the Best ATL School Award .
The product was very well appreciated by the judges, Company heads and entrepreneurs present during presentation of our team. The students – Vasundhara Mahadik, Anagha Waingade, Shreya Inamdar, Esheeta Kadam, Yuga Bhavale, Aarya Arrikel really worked hard with mentors Mr. Sachin Kute, Mrs. Aarti Ram Kumar, Mrs. Swapna Kahanpurkar and ATL team. Unlike other competitions, their journey hasn’t ended by winning this award but has just started. Dr Chintan Vaishnav, Director, Atal Innovation Mission encouraged students to keep on tinkering and develop innovative products to solve problems of their community.

In a spectacular display of creativity and ingenuity, our esteemed school clinched the prestigious Nanasaheb Shirgopikar Trophy at the Bhalba Kelkar Trophy 2024 for its groundbreaking and innovative presentation. The captivating performance unfolded on the stage of Bharat Natya Mandir in Pune, with the presentation and award ceremony taking place on the evening of January 18 at 5 pm. The invaluable support of Reshma Chavan added another layer of brilliance to the performance. Behind the scenes, our dedicated art department and fashion design team worked tirelessly to infuse the play with innovation. Special gratitude goes to Jagriti Miss, Ambekar Miss, Riya Miss, and Trupti Miss, whose unwavering support and guidance contributed significantly to the success of this extraordinary production. Inter School Achievements
City Pride School always takes an initiative to participate in exploring different innovative concepts and ideas. Intelligenceplus hosts the Innoventure National Excellence Competition and organizes various trainings for the children. It enhances the Creativity, Innovation, Thinking Skills, Problem Solving, Communication Skills, Social and Emotional Learning Skills of the students.
In the year 2023-24, there were 50,000 participating students, from 187 schools throughout 30 states who had participated in this competition. From City Pride School, 23 students participated in this competition amongst them 7 students got selected for the National Finale.
City Pride School feels proud to share that one of our student Mast. Satyaj Hedaoo from Grade 7 was invited as a ‘Panelist’ to talk about his pioneering project Plastobrick Maker which would turn the plastic bags into a small, compact brick before giving them to your Garbage Collector Van. It was truly an innovate idea. Satyaj was the winner of Innoventure for last three consecutive years. He has received the scholarship and certificate of excellence from trailblazer in association with Weikfield to take his marketing research project ahead and put forth his idea into reality.
In this academic year, Ms. Krishna Ladekar from Grade 9 was the winner for Innoventure National Finale. Krishna had come up with an idea named as ‘Dosy mate - a simple web-app for the special friends with Down Syndrome.’ It is a training assistive app for the Down syndrome children and their parents. She has received trophy, medal and certificate for her Excellence, scholarship of worth Rs. 62,000 which consist of Trailblazer fellowship of Rs. 25,000/- Xceedibles and Livinnovates training vouchers to enhance the leadership skills of Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 22,000 respectively.
The SVAMS project (Smart Vehicle Access and Monitoring System) showcased its brilliance at the CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition under Category-II. Presented by the talented students Aditya Singh and Amogh Hirve from City Pride School, Nigdi, and ably mentored by Ms. Kamiya Sharma. By virtue of its merit and cutting-edge solution it has qualified for the prestigious National Level Exhibition scheduled for January. Ms. Kimaya From std VIII, City Pride School, Nigdi, bagged third prize in the essay writing competition held at PCMC science fair.
Master Divit Sancheti, Std 6 of City Pride School, presented the project named- Emergency roads at PCMC district level Science Exhibition and qualified for the state level round.
Master Arnav Nemade , Std 6 from City Pride School, cleared the preliminary round of the young explorer project competition and presented his project named – Alkaline water in the final round of the competition at Muktangan Exploratory Pune.

City Pride School, Nigdi and City Pride School Chikhli, Moshi, hosted an Interschool event Student of the Year 2023-24 for the 10th year on 16th December 2023, for the students of std 6th -9th. Students from 8 different schools participated in the competition. The event focused and observed the Soft Skills acquired by the students through their subject Soft Skills taught in their respective schools. It was an event full of enthusiasm, creativity, communication skills, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal skills and teamwork. Various rounds were witnessed Group wise- Group A(Std 6th and 7th):- Individual rounds and Group rounds- Case study[Evaluated by Dr.Rohit Surawase and Ms.Smita Gosavi], Group discussion[Evaluated by Dr.Renu Vatkar, Ms, Gayatri Afre], Expressive image[Evaluted by Ms. Renu Inamdar, Ms. Dipti Sohoni]; Various rounds were witnessed Group wiseGroup B(Std 8th and 9th):- Debate[Evaluated by Mr.Ramdas Salunkhe,Ms. Swathi S], Express to impress. [Evaluated by Mr.Hrishikesh Khandekar, Dr.Namrata Kulkarni], Case Study[Evaluated by Ms. Neha Mahashabde, Ms. Sheetal Sawant] Students really came up wonderfully exploring their talents and skills. Students were given the topics on the spot with some preparation time where they could introspect, browse, jot down and organize the content to present it in the best possible way. They thoroughly enjoyed every round and contributed in the best possible ways. It was indeed a treat to watch every student speak so confidently which in turn made the shortlisting even more challenging for the judges. The shortlisted students from both the groups attempted the Judges round which was evlauted by Dr. Deepali Patrikar[ Career Counselor], Ms. Manisha[Honoured position connected to Volkswagon]. As it is said, ‘Alls well that ends Well’, here are the proud winners of the event: Student of the Year from every group was awarded. Compuskills 2023, organized by Acharya Shree Vijay Vallabh School, showcased remarkable talent and innovation. Out of 900 projects, only four were shortlisted, with two outstanding projects earning a spot from City Pride School for the viva round. Following rigorous evaluations, one project emerged victorious and made it to the grand finale. In an impressive display of skill and ingenuity, Satyaj Hedaoo and Anshul Kulkarni from 7 Courage at City Pride School secured the 2nd prize trophy, along with certificates and a cash prize. The 31st National Child Science Congress State-level competition unfolded today in Nashik. Amongst the 379 projects submitted from all districts of Maharashtra, a commendable 79 were shortlisted. It brings immense pride and joy to announce that, out of these 79, only 30 projects have been selected to advance to the Nationals. In a noteworthy achievement, our project "Sudhakhand," presented by Jiya Mittal of grade 6 and skillfully mentored by Ms. Vaishali Harugade, has successfully secured its place among the projects heading to the Nationals. Organized by OLL in collaboration with CNBC TV-18, the Skilltitans championship witnessed participation from 1.5 lac students nationwide, showcasing their creative business ideas. Government College of Engineering (COEP) hosted Mindspark, a prestigious national-level TECH FEST from October 27th to 29th. One of the highlights was the "Game of Innovations" in which City Pride School, Nigdi, enthusiastically participated. In the Game of Innovations, a team named "Team Indr" comprising exceptional students from Grade 9 and 10, including Soham Kulkarni, Shaurya Deshmukh, Pushkar Kolhe, Vanshika Kumar, Anshita Mathapati, and Bhargab Mishra, showcased their innovative product called "Madhumitra" over three days. Their exceptional presentation and product wowed the audience. As a result, they clinched the first prize by securing the highest number of votes from the visitors who viewed the five projects displayed by various schools and colleges during the event
Deetya Shetty and Drushti Shah received Goethe Institute scholarships to attend the JuniorUni Regional Youth Camp in Sri Lanka from September 27 to October 2, 2023. The camp emphasized different cultures, interactive presentations, creativity, and featured a science slam and science show. Alongside enhancing their scientific and language skills, the participants enjoyed sightseeing in Sri Lanka.

In another notable achievement, Mangirish Madyar, along with Vanshika Kumar, was honored with a scholarship from Max Mueller Bhavan, Pune. This scholarship enabled them to participate in the Regional Youth Camp held in Kochi from May 22nd to May 24th, 2023. The camp offered a diverse range of activities, including interactions with different German colleges, cultural immersion experiences, and even a T-shirt painting workshop. This opportunity provided them with a deeper understanding of Germany's academic landscape and culture, enhancing their overall perspectives.

City Pride School participated in Mathemania Quiz Competition organised by Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School, Baner on 29th July 2023. CPS team bagged first prize among 19 schools and 36 teams. City Pride School has won the prize of Rs.50,000 as second runner up in the prestigious Seed. The Future Entrepreneur Challenge at national level. Total 100 selected schools in the country participated in this challenge. Our students have been invited to attend start up meet in Delhi in the month of July organised by NITI Aayog Government of India. We are very proud of Tanishq Bhand from std 12 CBSE Science who participated in Hashtag Kalakar, an online platform, where she uploaded her poems. She was selected in the 100 best writers from 11,829 who had registered. She stands 9th among the top winners after garnering votes from people.

CPS Students of Grade 9 and 10 are the winners of one of the most prestigious National level program “Seed-The Future Entrepreneurs” organized by La Fondation Dassaults Systemes in association with Atal Innovation Mission NITI Aayog , Govt of India . As part of this program a team comprising of a passionate teacher and 5-6 bright students is formed to make an imaginary start-up company. Students from 29 states in the country participated in the entrepreneurship challenge. City Pride School team ITACS won this competition and bagged prize money of Rs.75000. They created an innovative product "MISTI " for catching insects effectively after working on the product design for past 9 months . The product was very well appreciated by the judges, Company heads and entrepreneurs present during presentation of our team. The students – Aafrah Chopdar , Chinmayee Vibhute , Gargee Patade , Yash Bhavale Sampann Sanghai ,and Varada Nair really worked hard with mentors Mrs. Aarti Ram Kumar ,Mr Sachin Kute and Mr. Bharat Khairkar. Unlike other competitions, their journey hasn’t ended by winning the competition but has just started as the school is planning to file a patent for this innovative product MISTI – Modern Indoor System for Trapping Insects .

We will like to share a great news with all of you that truly endorse our vision, 'Reaching new heights. Our school has won Sustainability Award of US$ 2500 ( approx. 190000 Rs.) in an International Competition addressing Sustainable development goals. Total 200 educators with their teams from 48 countries had participated. Our school's project , named YUGMA is one among 17 winners. Vedika J, Raj T, Anay G, Chimayee P, Chinmayi V, Priyal K, Arti P and Satyaj H and their mentor Ms Poonam G came up with the project named as YUGMA (meaning-unified collaboration). The project deals with 3 prong approaches to bring the children with special needs to the school to identify their talent and hone it, develop a multi-lingual app( App link- https://bit.ly/3rN61mK); to improve motor skills and learning; create a website to provide necessary information to parents (Website link- https://cienachallenge2021.wordpress.com) They were supported by Departments of Sports, Computer, Music, Art and soft skill. Every year we participate in Innoventure Intelligenceplus National level competition. This competition is based on building entrepreneurship, creativity, self esteem, confidence, divergent thinking, lateral thinking, idea generation, innovation and social skills among the children. The first round of this competition started in February 2021. It was paper pencil round where children were given questions on the basis of creativity, divergent thinking and lateral thinking. There were 33 students from City Pride School who particitpated from Grade 4th to Grade 6th. The second round was held in November 2021. In this round, 22 students were shortlisted and had to answer the questions on the spot and criteria for evaluation was communication skills. In the Finale, there were 13 students shortlisted. These students were given the problem statement and had to come up with innovative solutions. It was a live event where children had to come up with the solution within one hour. *We are happy to announce that amongst 14 schools participating across the states and around 850 students participating Mast. Satyaj Hedao is the National level Winner for Grade 5 and Dr. Amrapali Dumbre received School Mentorship Award.

Compuskills competition for the project based on Scratch programming language organised by Acharya shri Vijay Vallabh School The project was based on the topic "My Mom My Superwoman" being very close to her heart. In her project she depicted Ma Durga with her eight hands which gets replaced my modern age woman with different daily routines of hers. She has won First Prize as Rs.4000 Cash, Trophy and certificate in finale round. This competation had Project submission followed by Viva in their school and finale round on the stage. There were 66 schools across multiple cities like pune, mumbai, nashik including entries from brazil with 400+ participants.

In Celebration of World Kindness Day 2021, youth from around the World were invited to submit their artwork for the 24th Annual Peace Pals International Art Exhibition and Awards. The theme and Message was : Kindness (Express Yourself through Acts of Kindness.) Aarna Malengaonkar (Std 5 Peace) is the finalist under 8-10 years age group. Students from more than 59 countries had participated.
Hackathon was organized by an MNC, Moonshot Junior in association with i4c. 35 teams were shortlisted out of 250 teams from Pune and Goa for the final round. Our students presented their idea and prototype in the final round and our Team “CPS Techy mates” having students from Grade 8 comprising Vanshika Kumar, Siddhi Desai , Ayush Patil and Harshwardhan Yewale won the first prize under problem statement-Don’t flush out WaterAir. The students worked on a smart device that can reduce the wastage of water. The winning team will receive a Robotic Car kit, Moonpreneur board game, 50%scholarship on Moonshot Jr Innovator program, and Amazon Gift voucher worth Rs 11000.
SakaL N.I.E. along with M Tek Engineers, Pune had come up with a Reading competition for students to showcase their reading and speaking skills. It aimed at expressing oneself fluently with appropriate expressions. Students submitted a recorded video of their reading. They were given the liberty to choose any one out of the 3 languages Marathi , Hindi and English. The Citypridian voracious readers participated whole heartedly in this event.

STEM Research & Innovation conducted the National Astronomy Challenge in India and across the globe in the academic year 2021. The objective was to provide a unique competitive platform for students and fuel their passion for Astronomy and Space science. Arnav Indurkar from Grade 4 is the school topper.
KIDEX conducted 'National All Rounder Championship' (NARC) from 1 May 2021 to 31 July 2021. It is an event in which every child completes 30 age-appropriate activities from their home, across five development themes (cognitive, creative/imagination, socio/emotional, physical & language/communication). The child who gets the maximum score across all 30 activities is announced as the best All Rounder in that age category. This opportunity paved paths for the students to learn and get a hands-on experience to innovate and present their ideas and views uniquely while developing their self-confidence, problem-solving skills, and being a competitive and active participant. At the City Pride School, we always aim to give our students a wide experience of competition and learning. This was actively achieved through this Summit. 25+ students of City Pride School, Nigdi participated in this one-month long Summit, held in May 2021. We had around 20 Ambassadors who participated in the event, representing City Pride School. The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt of India-PCRA regularly organizes people centric activities to create mass awareness through various print and electronic media to sensitize people on conserving Energy. This year also SAKSHAM competitions had 3 categories Quiz, Essay and Painting. Through this, useful information and tips on fuel conservation and environment protection are given.
State Level winners from CPS include Quiz 1. Nipun Tiwari 9th std. 2. Advika Kankhar 8th std. Essay Chimayi Pethkar 10 std. These three children win 2000 INR each and have chosen to compete in the National category.
It is our great pleasure to announce that JAGRUTI SHARMA from STD 5th Joy won the Lenovo Scholarship, HT and goes on to win Lenovo Laptop. Lenovo Smarter Ed Scholarship, an initiative by Hindustan Times came up with a competition for students of grade 5 to 12. The program allowed students to participate with their preferred choice of written or verbal entries in the form of an essay, or an audio video, an audio file or even a PowerPoint Presentation. Thousands pan India participated. Question to be answered was- Describe the current online education system, creative ideas on how it can be improved.
This summit was hosted for students studying across different countries and schools. A group of 20 students from each school have participated as an Innovation Ambassador. At the summit, the students had several activities to participate in and showcase their skills and talents. Our students have also made efforts to push their limits and participate in their activities.

Our students of Std 8 and 9 participated in an International level program the “Seed the Future Entrepreneurs” organized by LaFondation Dassaults Systems in the month of March 2021. As part of this program a team from selected schools, comprising of a passionate teachers and 5-6 bright students is formed to make an imaginary start-up company. They designed a product of their dream, manufactured it using 3D Printing, developed a marketing campaign for their product and representing school in a playful competition. Our students Afrah Chopdar, Chinmayee Vibhute, Gargee Patade, Sampann Sangai, Yash Bhavale and Ayaan Ansari have made a special product for special purpose- #WIN-GLA-VAC (Window Glass Vaccum Cleaner). It revolves around a Simple Fundamental “A clean Home is Happy Home”. The students worked in ATL Labs , designed the product in XDesign Software and made their dream product. We received Rs 7000 as Appreciation Award from the jury members. Well done team and mentors Arati Ram Kumar and Khairkar sir.
TickLinks in partnership with Ramakrishna Mission Science Centre conducted Vivekananda Young Explorer contest online in Jan 2021 for English, Maths and Science for children to promote Fun learning through real life applications and projects. CPS feel happy to share that Spruha Bidkar bagged the certificate of Excellence by coming in the top 1% in Std 1-3 group in . She submitted the project based on the theme: Creativity with 2D shapes (Maths). Well done Spruha, Keep it up!
KidEx Venture Pvt. Ltd. based at Gurgaon recently conducted a National All Rounder Championship. The competition comprised of total 30 activities based on Cognitive intelligence, Physical, Social-emotional, language & Communication, Creativity & Imagination Aptitude.
Aarav Shah from LKG stood first in the competition at National level. There were category wise prizes as well as region, state and city wise prizes too. Following are the champs who got the prizes, in their group at various categories All rounders in Western Zone: Theia Bhong stood first, Sia Rapelli stood 2nd in age group 4 years, Aaradhya Mahajan stood 3rd in age group 6years in the western Zone. Language and communication at National level. Dakshita Dave (age group 6 years) stood 1st, Aaradhya Mahajan (age group 6 years) stood 1st in Language and communication at National level. Sia Rapelli , in age group 4 years stood 1st in Cognitive intelligence at National level. Very well done little champ, CPS is proud of you!
The Bebras Computing Challenge introduces computational thinking to students. It is organized in over 30 countries and designed to get students all over the world excited about computing. Each participant gets 45 minutes to answer 15 multiple-choice questions that focus on computational and logical thinking. This time the student participation number was 103,114 in age groups 8-18 in 7 languages across 19 states. In the group Aaryabhat following students from Nigdi got National 1st Rank.

Acharya Shree Vijay Vallabh School in association with CSI, MKCL, TCS and Rotary Club of Poona Midtown and Daily Maharashtra Times as a media partner has organized competition ‘Interschool Compuskills Championship 2020’ using SCRATCH as a tool. Our budding programmers Anvi Badve (Std 8) and Arya Gurale (Std 8) bagged 2nd prize for their Scratch project "Atmanirbhar Bharat" and received trophy, cash prize and certificate.
City Pride School feel proud to share that one of our student Avni Belsare from Class 5 was National winner of IntelligencePlus 2019. This year she is selected as one of speaker for the webinar.
The students had to shoot themselves asking a question related to science and technology, about which they are curious. Out of hundreds of questions sent by Students from different schools across Maharashtra, questions of only 15 Students have been selected. Tanmayee Athavale from 6 Vigour is one of them. She now stands a chance to participate in the live workshop with Joachim Hecker (an expert who will be conducting the workshop on science and technology and will be answering the questions of the kids in a playful manner)
Every year City Pride School actively participates in IPM Exam, which is a competitive exam and prestigious one to develop logical reasoning, analytical skills and to build Mathematical attitude among students. So we are proud to announce that in year 2020-21, out of 87 students who registered for the IPM exam , 49 got selected for Mega final.

A global platform for the students to explore new skills of the 21st Century. An event organized by Zenik Learning, only for students across the globe of Class III to VI. This opportunity paved paths for the students to learn and get a hands-on experience to innovate and present their ideas and views uniquely while developing their self-confidence, problem-solving skills, and being a competitive and active participant. At the City Pride School, we always aim to give our students a wide experience of competition and learning. This was actively achieved through this Summit. Online Innovators Summit was conducted on 23rd May 2021.

Our marathi drama 'Apale Ghar' received 1st consolation prize in marathi drama competition , which was organizes by Akhil Bhartiya Natya Parishad at Acharya Atre Sabhagruh , Pimpri.
