City Pride School being a Konkani Linguistic School, Konkani Linguistic students will be given direct admission for LKG Class::City Pride School, Nigdi received " Maharashtra's Top Dynamic School 2023 " award from Education Today News Network::City Pride School has won the prize of Rs.50,000 as second runner up in the prestigious Seed The Future Entrepreneur Challenge at national level::Once again City Pride Group of Schools finds itself on the pedestal of the prestigious Times School Survey of best school in two categories, "Highest parent satisfaction" and gets the title as " Next Generation school "::City Pride School team of students won "Seed the future entrepreneurs" competition and bagged a prize money of Rs.75000 ::City Pride School, Nigdi has won Sustainability Award of US$ 2500 ( approx. ₹190000) in an International Competition addressing Sustainable development goals. Our school project, named YUGMA is one among 17 International winners

Ms. Shweta Bhamare from City Pride School, Nigdi presented her action research in Rashtriya Navopakram Spardha 23-24 and bagged first prize.

Our Honorable Director Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni Ma’am was conferred with a prestigious award as a Skill Ambassador by Govt. of India.

CTiS 2023 Conference

The conference on Computational Thinking in Schools (CTiS2023) was organised on 7th and 8th July, 2023 at IISER, Pune in partnership with City Pride Group of Schools and SCTR’s PICT ACM Student Chapter (PASC).
Dr. Deepali Sawai, our director was the program co-chair for the conference.
This year, the teachers teaching Computer, Maths , Science and language also participated enthusiastically. This year 5 abstracts from City Pride Group of Schools got selected for the presentation, showcasing the effective implementation of computational thinking.
1. Mrs. Amruta Dike , Afrin Usmani (teachers from Nigdi branch and Mihir Sawai(Alumni of CPS, student of PICT, Pune) presented paper of - Unplugged Activity To Teach Concept Of Looping And Conditions Using Computational Thinking.
2. Mrs. Bhakti Mohale (Nigdi Branch) presented paper on – चला शिकूया खेळातून संस्कृत भाषेतील वाक्यरचना.
3. Mrs. Divya Roy and Shweta Bhamre (Nigdi Branch) presented paper on – Play With The Ray To Understand The Ray Diagrams.
4. Manisha Shinde , Poonam Kandekr and Poonam More(Moshi Branch) – Teaching Computer Network Through Computational Thinking.
5. Dipalee Badigar (Ravet Branch) - Computational Thinking In Coding.

GMRT National Level Online Science Project Exhibition And Competition 2023

The Project - Teaching aid to check electrical conductivity in different solutions by Sheetal Ravi Chinnanwar won the prize. The prize distribution was conducted at GMRT Khodad on Wednesday, 01/03/2023


Abhang Gayan Spardha 2022

Bharatiya Vidya bhavan school pune had organized अभंग गायन स्पर्धा at their Sulochana Natu sabhagruh. Total 7 schools participated in the competition, and CPS teachers bagged the 1st prize.
Participant teachers were:
Kusum Chavan, Mrunal Ponkshe, Saylee Sonawane , Padmini Bhor , Aparna Kulkarni( CPS Moshi), Sayali Bhide, Kusum Chavan ( harmonium), Vaibhav Keskar ( Tabla ), Vaibhav Bhosle ( pakhawaj).


Best Acadamecian Of The Year Award

City Pride School, Director Dr. Deepali Sawai has recently received The BEST ACADEMICIAN OF THE YEAR AWARD from Global Eminence Awards 2021. She received this award for her contribution in development of innovative systems for achieving excellence in super specialized educational field.


Certificate of Life Membership

CPS family feels very proud to share with you all that our counselors Dr.Amrapali Dumbre, Ms. Syamala Dusane and Ms. Geeta Kulkarni have been awarded with the certificate as a Counsellor from Counsellors Council of India and received the CRN numbers as counsellor on account of their continuing support and work in the area of psychological councelling and guidance.

Shikashan Gaurav Puraskar

Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni, the director of City Pride School, recently received the "Shikashan Gaurav Puraskar". The award ceremony was organised by Shri. Shreerang Appa Barne special foundation to recognise the work done by individuals towards society during the pandemic.

Rajiv Gandhi IT Excellence Award

The talent of success is nothing more than doing what you can do well; and doing well whatever you do…” Our Director Dr.Deepali Sawai has been awarded with prestigious Rajiv Gandhi IT Excellence Award 2019 from Padmashri Anu Agha Chairman, Thermax, in the presence of Adv Vandana Chavan, Rajysabha MP , Adv. Abhay Chhajed and Mr. Girish Rao.

International level Online Art Competition 2020

CPS feels happy to share that, the art work sent by our Animation teacher, Sachin Kute for the International level Online Art Competition 2020 was selected in top 130 creations in Silver Category for online art exhibition. The topic was : Prevent the Spread of Corona 19.

IT Guru Award

CPS Sr. Computer Teacher Ms. Aafrin Usmani received prestigious IT Guru Award-2020. She has been shortlisted among the best 2000+ participants from across India. Team ITGA appreciated her efforts and contribution during this pandemic.

Teacher of the Nation Award

CPS Maths teacher Manjusha Kunkoleinkar is awarded with Teacher of the Nation trophy and certificate by Funtoot.

Science Project Award

The project title “Sustainable Societies in Smart Cities” won at the State level. The teacher incharge , Mrs Rasika Kulkarni was felicitated and received certificate

Best Sports Teacher Award

It was a great honour for our "City Pride School" that Mr. Jagdish R Sonawane was awarded as the "Best Sports Teacher" for the year 2017-18 by "Pimpri Chinchwad City Sports & Physical Education Teacher Association" on 6th February 2018 for his outstanding work for school and community of sports. He has mastery in athletics and skating in which he prepares the students for National & International level. He was felicitated by the cheif guest Ex Olympian Mrs. Anjali Bhagwat

Best Animation Award

Sachin M Kute has received Best Animation Award for the 3D animation film ‘Puppets’ in the International Short Film Fest Pune;Best Child Award for the film ‘Save Girl Child’ in the ISFF;AIR 2 by Praful Art Foundation for his paintings .Award All India Silver medal, he has also made a huge contribution towards a social cause. He and his team of artists had been painting the 30,000 ft long walls of Lonavala under ‘Citizen Contribution towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan Programme’. The team received first prize on national level for ‘Making Lonavala Clean & Beautiful’.

Computer Champs

Computer Department teachers(Mrs. Amruta Dike,Mrs. Afrin Usmani,Mrs. Linchu Varghese) have written and published Computer Champs books under the able guidance of Dr. Deepali Sawai.

German CD

City Pride School German teachers Amruta Dike and Anaya Kulkarni have published German Learning CD

Riyaz CD

Riyaz cd ,a very innovative thought excecuted by City Pride School. Making of this cd the intention was very musical it contains all the syllabus framed by Gandharva mandal Miraj it is specially designed for the students of 1st level Vocal exam .The best part is the support backup instrument is Voilin very near to vocalist as the swaras r connected .
