CPS Students of Grade 9 and 10 are the winners of one of the most prestigious National level program “Seed-The Future Entrepreneurs” organized by La Fondation Dassaults Systemes in association with Atal Innovation Mission NITI Aayog , Govt of India . As part of this program a team comprising of a passionate teacher and 5-6 bright students is formed to make an imaginary start-up company. Students from 29 states in the country participated in the entrepreneurship challenge.
City Pride School team ITACS won this competition and bagged prize money of Rs.75000.
They created an innovative product "MISTI " for catching insects effectively after working on the product design for past 9 months . The product was very well appreciated by the judges, Company heads and entrepreneurs present during presentation of our team.
The students – Aafrah Chopdar , Chinmayee Vibhute , Gargee Patade , Yash Bhavale Sampann Sanghai ,and Varada Nair really worked hard with mentors Mrs. Aarti Ram Kumar ,Mr Sachin Kute and Mr. Bharat Khairkar. Unlike other competitions, their journey hasn’t ended by winning the competition but has just started as the school is planning to file a patent for this innovative product MISTI – Modern Indoor System for Trapping Insects .
