Kindly note the following points :
A) Breakfast facility - Breakfast facility is Optional – Parents who want their child to avail the breakfast facility are required to pay Rs  3875/- ( for 11 months)  in cash in the school office on 8th  June to 9th June 2017 Between 9.30am to 1pm. Also,as GST(Goods and service tax) is going to be implemented for the breakfast for the session 2017-18 , there may be a slight increase in the amount. Increased amt will be informed later.Kindly note, it is not possible to join or discontinue this facility within the academic year.

B) Bus facility - Bus facility is Optional – Parents who want their child to avail this facility need to check the bus routes and its charges on the school notice board from 2nd June 2017.Kindly note, it is not possible to join or discontinue this facility within the academic year. Bus fees ( for 12 months) need to be paid in cash  in the school office on 8th and June to 9th June 2017 Between 9.30am to 1pm.    Choose To Thinq will be conducting IndiQa - an online schools quiz based on India on August 15th for school students. The questions will be about all things India and is open to all students studying in Classes VIII to X. 

   Details about the quiz:

    The quiz will cover all topics about India - history, geography, sports, entertainment, culture, science, current affairs etc.

    Students will participate as individuals. Please register for the quiz on http://bit.ly/indiqa2016 . The link for the quiz will be sent to the email ids registered before 6 PM, IST on 14th August.

    The quiz will be conducted online on the quizzing platform, Perisqope.

    The quiz link will be open for one hour between 11 AM and 12 PM, IST on 15th August.

    Participants can attempt the quiz from any location, using a PC/laptop/mobile device connected to the internet. It is not required for the participants to go to any specific location (school/exam Centre) to attempt this quiz.

Nothing is more sacred than the act of planting a tree. To inculcate this beautiful thought in our children, we here at City Pride School, wish to do our bit for the future. Let all children get that sense of achievement upon seeing the beautiful green tree that they themselves shall plant and nurture for years to come. So we would like all students to take up the initiative of planting a sapling in their own terraces, balcony, verandah, backyards, society or gardens where they think they can observe it, nurture it and help it to survive.

Every child will make small observations in their diary such as its growth, water content and other changes every week. Parents must capture these moments along with the child and keep a record of the same.
The child will submit a complete report on A4 size paper [min 500 words] with images before 14/10/2016 to his/her respective class teacher. This activity shall be considered for FA 3

   Medical Insurance for all the students is done by City Pride School through ICICI Lombard and is valid for 1 year starting from 1st May 2016. The details are given below.

Terms & Condition

A: Accidental Death only – 100%

B = (A) + Loss of Two Limbs, Two eyes or one limb and one eye -100%

Loss of One Limb or One Eye - 50%

Permanent Total Disablement (PTD) from injuries other than those named above -100%

C = (A) + (B) + Permanent Partial Disablement (PPD)

Medical Expenses Payable Upto Rs 50000 or actual which ever is less triggered only when claim is

admissible under benefit table A,B,C.

OPD medical expenses payable up to Rs 5000 (With a deductibles of Rs 500) Eg OPD bill is 500/-

then injured will get Zero Rs, If Bill is for 1000/- Injured will get 500/-

   Notice for LKG (2016-17)

   Dt: 15/04/2016

   Dear Parent,
Kindly note the following points :
A) Breakfast facility - Breakfast facility is Optional – Parents who want their child to avail the breakfast facility are required  to pay Rs  3630/- ( for 11 months)  in cash in the school office from 2nd June to 4th June 2016 Between 9.30am to 1pm. Kindly note, it is not possible to join or discontinue this facility within the academic year. ( For any queries contact Ms Mrunal – school office)

B) Bus facility - Bus facility is Optional – Parents who want their child to avail this facility need to check the bus routes and its charges on the school notice board from 2nd June 2016 . Kindly note, it is not possible to join or discontinue this facility within the academic year. Bus fees ( for 12 months) need to be paid in cash  in the school office from 2nd June to 4th June 2016 Between 9.30am to 1pm. ( For any queries contact Ms Anuya – school office)

C) Books of Std LKG will be distributed in the school on 9.6.16 and 10.6.16  from 9.15am to 12 noon.The cost of the book set is Rs. 2135 (approx)  which need to be paid in cash while collecting it. Please note that the clay box, crayons and marble paper in the books set will be directly handed over to the class teacher. Books need to be covered only with a plastic sheet and labeled too. The entire set of books need to be handed over to the class teacher  on 13.6.15.
School buses will move on their respective routes on 10.6.16 at 10.45 am. Parents can check their routes by travelling in the bus on that day.

 D) Uniform Availability - Parents can get the school uniform & other accessories from any shop. Full set of uniform is even available after 20.5.16 with Sagar Garments, Sukhawani Heritage, Shop no 15, Nr Gupta Shoes, Akurdi, Pune Ph 9922346272, 020-27651690.

E) The academic year(16-17) for Std LKG will begin on Thurs, 9.6.16. Timings for 9.6.16 and 10.6.16 will be from 9.15am to 10.45am. No bus facility will be provided for these two days. Parents need to pick and drop their child. Breakfast will be provided to the children who are availing it. Regular school from 13.6.16. Timings- 9.15am to 12.15pm. Bus facility will be provided from 13.6.16

F) Students need to carry a labeled bag, water bottle and  napkin every day. Please send an old dress in a labeled bag  which will be kept in the school and used in case the child spoils his / her uniform.

G)Taking into consideration, the security and safety of our children, the school has introduced ‘PICK UP CARD’ .Each child will be issued two cards. Parents need to fill in the required information. The photo of the child should be pasted in the space allotted. The cards should be laminated.
NOTE: The card needs to be strictly carried along by the person coming to pick the child.

Kindly note that,  this year school has cancelled jeans half pant and introduced blue half pant for boys from Std 1st  to 8th . Accordingly the shirt collar will have same material as of shirt material  and a small flap on sleeves will have the same material as of the pant.  There is no change in the girls uniform for std 1st to 8th  and  also no change in the uniform for KG section and  std  IX and X (girls and boys).
You can buy the above uniform / shoes / socks from any other shops, provided the colour and pattern should not change.
