We are pleased to inform you that the General Body of the Parent-Teacher Association of City Pride School has been formed for the academic year 2017-2018 . All the parents of std 1st to 10th are the members of Parent-Teacher Association.
As you all are aware that we have to form the Executive Body of Parent-Teacher Association for the academic year 2017-2018.
We expect the interested parents to self nominate in the format which is available in the school office. Such willingness format can be submitted in the school office on or before Wed, 5th July 2017 till 3:00 pm.
If the numbers of willing parents are more than 1 per standard then a draw will be conducted for selecting the representative of Executive Body Member of the class.

   LKG Notice Regarding Breakfast, Bus, Books

Dear Parent,
Kindly note the following points :
A) Breakfast facility - Breakfast facility is Optional – Parents who want their child to avail the breakfast facility are required to pay Rs  3875/- ( for 11 months)  in cash in the school office on 8th  June to 9th June 2017 Between 9.30am to 1pm. Also,as GST(Goods and service tax) is going to be implemented for the breakfast for the session 2017-18 , there may be a slight increase in the amount. Increased amt will be informed later.Kindly note, it is not possible to join or discontinue this facility within the academic year.

B) Bus facility - Bus facility is Optional – Parents who want their child to avail this facility need to check the bus routes and its charges on the school notice board from 2nd June 2017.Kindly note, it is not possible to join or discontinue this facility within the academic year. Bus fees ( for 12 months) need to be paid in cash  in the school office on 8th and June to 9th June 2017 Between 9.30am to 1pm. ( For any queries contact Ms Anuya – school office)School buses will move on their respective routes on 9.6.17 at 10.45 am. Parents can check their routes by travelling in the bus on that day.

   C) Books of Std LKG will be distributed in the school on 8.6.17from 9.30am to 12.30pm.Total cost of it is Rs. 3667/- which needs to be paid by  two different cheques as follows.
* one cheque in the name of “Rajesh Trading Agencies” of amount of rs. 1412/-
* Another cheque in the name of “ATSS OTHER INSTITUTES” of amount of rs. 2255/-

D) Uniform Availability - Parents can get the school uniform & other accessories from any shop. Full set of uniform is even availableafter 20.5.17 with Sagar Garments, SukhawaniHeritage, Shop no 15, Nr Gupta Shoes, Akurdi, Pune Ph 9922346272, 020-27651690.
E) The academic year(17-18) for Std LKG will begin on Thurs, 8.6.17. Timings for 8.6.17 and 9.6.17 will be from 9.15am to 10.45am. No bus facility will be provided for these two days. Parents need to pick and drop their child. Breakfast will be provided to the children who are availing it. Regular school from12.6.17.Timings- 9.15am to 12.15pm. Bus facility will be provided from 12.6.17

F) Students need to carry a labeled bag, water bottle and napkin every day. Please send an old dress in a labeled bag which will be kept in the school and used incase the child spoils his / her uniform.
G)Taking into consideration, the security and safety of our children, the school has introduced ‘PICK UP CARD’ .Each child will be issued two cards. Parents need to fill in the required information. The photo of the child should be pasted in the space allotted. The cards should be laminated.

   Dear Parents,
1) As discussed in the PTA meet and as per the request made by our parents, the set of text books and notebooks for the academic year 2017-2018 will be distributed in IICMR building on the below mentioned dates The list will be provided by the dealer at the time of book distribution. . Check the set thoroughly with the list before you leave the campus.
2) Since the items are ordered in a bulk, the manufacturer offers a discount on certain articles. We pass the same discount to our parents. THERE IS NO DISCOUNT ON NCERT and SSC Books.
3) Binding charge - Rs 20/- is included in the price of every NCERT Book.
4) Parents are expected to cover & label the text books and note books with brown cover.
5) The total cost of text books and Notebooks (A) should be paid by cheque in the name of “Rajesh Trading Agencies”
6) The total cost of Additional Programmes and activities (B) should be paid by cheque in the name of “City Pride School”
7) The above mentioned both the cheques should have student’s name and parent’s phone no written on the back side of the cheques.

   Guidelines - The Avid Reader badge is an initiative to acknowledge the love to read and read to excel in one’s knowledge and perception of the world. It recognizes the students who show passion to read books from the School Library.
  Avid Reader Award was introduced two years back. Since then we have got a wonderful response. Hence from the next academic year [2017-18] onwards the selection of the awardees will be undertaken in a more objective way. STUDENTS WILL APPLY FOR THE BADGE.

Objectives –
•    Students must read voraciously in order to excel in reading skills and language skills
